Broken Glass

Shattered, broken life pieces

Scattered on the floor

Usefulness is ended

Beautiful no more.

Shards of glass, sharp edges

Gathered up cut deep

Vibrant colors dirt-dulled

My soul no more to keep.

Shattered, broken life pieces

Scattered at the throne

Beautiful mosaic

Suddenly takes form.

Jesus the Shepherd cradles

This lamb close to His heart

And in His arms my shattered life

Becomes a work of art.

About Julia

Welcome! I'm so glad you stopped by. My name is Julia. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a teacher, and most recently, a writer. Above all, I am a daughter of the King. I am constantly amazed at God's goodness in my life; undeserved and unlimited. Come sit and visit awhile. The teapot's always on the stove.
